treasure island is narrated by Robert Louis Stevenson.it is tale about pirates and buried gold.The actual place the island is Norman Island in the British Virgin Islands,nearby norman island is Dead Man Chest island which stevenson found in a book by charles kingsley.Other contenders are the small islands in Queen Street Gardens in Edinburgh.Benbow pub also one of the place that stevenson has spent his last day there.although it cant be proven but the ghost still hunt the property.
